About Snapchat

Snapchat is a picture messaging application for mobile devices using Android and iOS operating systems. The Snapchat app was developed by an elite group of Stanford University students with the purpose of sharing photos, videos, texts, and drawings and sending them to a list of recipients within the sender's control. The videos, pictures, and drawings sent in the app are called “Snaps”. In the old version of Snapchat, the server allowed users to delete and draw messages in the first 10 seconds of sending before they received them.
Since its launch, Snapchat has not received much trust from people because this application only stores video and image content for a short period of time before disappearing completely.
